Singapore also boasts a fantastic public transport system. Strategically located train stations and a fleet of readily available public buses makes travelling within the country easy. What’s more, the tap water in Singapore is drinkable due to an excellent drainage system. In many other countries, the tap water is often tainted and dirty. This is different in the case of Singapore.
Singapore differentiates itself well with other countries because it advocates inter-racial harmony. Many different races live together under one roof. The Chinese, Malays, Indians, Eurasians are all happy neighbours with each other. Singapore, being multi-racial will therefore be celebrating many festivals belonging to each ethnic group. Tourists visiting Singapore will be greeted by the rich culture the country has.
Many annual events are also organized in Singapore, for example the Chingay Parade, an annual street parade held in Singapore. Participants in the parade engage in multi-ethnic performances, dancing, acrobatic acts, dragon dances as well as showcasing beautifully made floats.

The Singapore botanical garden which is just situated beside the National Orchid Garden boasts of its wonderfully kept gardens.
