From dancing in the most vibrant festivities down the praying in the quietest corners of shrines, here are the top best things that you can do in the capital city of the Land of the Rising Sun.
1. Devour Beer and Tapas in a Shibuya Izakaya

Wandering in Shibuya during the evening can be very tricky. However, it can also be fun and exciting. Looking for an izakaya can be very tricky with all the same-looking buildings. But once you get inside one, you will have all the freedom to drink, eat, and befriend the other diners.
2. Experience the Daikanyama’s Lounge Scene at Frames

Daikanyama is not only a popular neighborhood for its shops. Its quirky architecture is also something that is worth appreciating. The Frames bar and restaurant is one of its attractions with its lovely interiors, pleasant house beats, and good-looking clientele. Plus, their dishes and cocktails are tasty.

6. Stroll Past Street Art in Senso-Ji’s Nakamise

This is another place where tourists can enjoy street art. Only this time, it is within the market right before the entrance to the Senso-Ji Temple. Known as the Nakamise, this maze has been splattered with an edgier take on traditional printmaking compositions.
7. Stumble Upon Swastikas at Senso-Ji Temple

The swastika might have a negative connotation in its use by the Nazis in old Germany but this symbol means the completely opposite in the Senso-Ji Temple. A Sanskrit term that means “good luck”, this ancient symbol is liberally seen on the temple grounds.
